Burberry has unveiled its new Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, and maintaining true to its roots it has selected to showcase two British models. However, not just any versions, Naomi Jourdan Dunn and Campbell.
Once again this Burberry effort has been taken by Mario Testino, who’s a comprehensive genius behind the camera, and although it is the first time that both of these models have worked together, the few teaser shots of the brand’s next advertising drive have created a lot of excitement.
Speaking of this effort, Naomi Campbell shown in a statement, “It’s always a pleasure to work with Mario Testino; we came up in the business together 28 years ago, so have an understanding and ease in working together. His photography is unique and the results are always stunning. And I was thrilled to work with Jourdan Dunn for the very first time — it had been lots of fun”
“But most importantly, it’s always rewarding for an artist to work on a campaign to get a world-class item.”
We are already in love with all the brands spring/summer range that showcases suede trenches using PVC trim, tiered dresses, distinctive plaid and neon bags, reimagined denim bikers and aviation coats, to name but a couple of pieces.
Burberry chief innovative and CEO Christopher Bailey said of this campaign, “Naomi and Jourdan — two great British icons, just two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign. It is, as always, a true privilege to work with them.”
The entire collection will be available from Burberry from the 5th January 2015. For more from this effort that is fantastic, watch the video below.
