Bottega Veneta and Calvin Klein Opt to Co-Ed Shows

This week, not one but two trend labels revealed their choice to elect for co-ed style runways at forthcoming fashion weeks. Come February, both Bottega Veneta and Calvin Klein will reveal men’s and women’s collections collectively on one runway. Despite jumping on board with this recently favoured form of demonstration, both Bottega Veneta and Calvin Klein will allegedly stick with the usual season schedule instead of switching to the increasingly popular, “watch now, purchase today” format.

The forthcoming Autumn/Winter 2017 Calvin Klien series also marks Raf Simons’ debut collection for the label. Set to show in New York Fashion Week on February 10 at 10am, the series will feature men’s and women’s Ready-to-Wear, as well as accessories.

While blending the runways means moving menswear to the womenswear program and slot, Simons will even show at New York Fashion Week: Men’s to exhibit his own eponymous label.
